Executive Cottage Near Washington DC in Virginia Horse Country.
This wonderfully charming cottage boasts a 360 degree forest and pastoral view of Hidden Hollow Farm in Warrenton Virginia.. Because everyone needs to relax, you should enjoy your coffee on the deck and watch the herds of deer and wild turkey come out of the woods. Likewise, if you bring children, they will love the amount of land they have to roam for adventures.
Downtown: Our cottage is “so close, but yet so far away!” You can walk less than 1 mile to Panera Bread to get your morning coffee and fresh pastry. Furthermore, when you enter the private Hidden Hollow lane and adjacent farm you are surrounded by country! Other attractions and activities: This warm and inviting cottage is adjacent to open pastures and the adjacent Hidden Hollow Farm is a “dream come true” home; unique and one-of-a-kind! It is located just outside of the town of Warrenton, Virginia in Fauquier County; in horse/wine country! Also only 30 minutes east of the Vienna Metro Station; a great way to travel into Washington, D.C. 45 minutes away. Just 30 minutes takes you to the Shenandoah Mountains/Appalachian Trail and Skyline Drive. Almost all our guest comment they will be back soon, and we hope you will as well..
Gerry and Sue Wear are long time residents of the Northern VA area. When not entertaining guest in one of their homes, they like to travel themselves, looking for new and exciting adventures. We had a wonderful time here. We were a large group and used every bunk, every cot in the place. Even the bunks were extra long. We are all pretty tall and were very happy and comfy. Sue is phenomenal. The place is gorgeous and the pictures DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!!! There was enough space for people in our group to do their own thing, or all be together. We loved it. The outside area is amazing.

For the ultimate in indoor fun, The Warf (Warrenton Aquatic & Recreation Facility) has a 25 yd. by 25 meter indoor competition and fitness pool, leisure pool with a water slide, lazy river, additional play features, zero depth entry pool and a therapy pool with 104 degree water for aching muscles. A 900 sq. ft. activity room is also available for parties and events. All just 8 minutes from the COTTAGE.

Great location, close to town but felt like out in country.
We were hosting a Marine Officer reunion with over sixteen people staying at the residence. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The house was perfect for our weekend gathering. Very enjoyable, I would recommend this location for any family gathering.
